The hugely popular Spanish Bluebells Excelsior Blue is characterised by strap-like leaves and sturdy stems that contain 15-20 bell-shaped flower pendants in the most glorious shade of violet blue.
Easy to grow and able to thrive in both sunny and shady situations, this gorgeous plant naturalises well – both through bulb offsets and self-seeding - and becomes increasingly prolific year after year. Particularly spectacular when planted in large drifts, Spanish Bluebells Excelsior Blue is also a great choice for rockeries, gardens, pots and containers and makes a lovely cut flower as well. Combine Spanish Bluebells Excelsior Blue with pink or white bluebells for a magical display.
