Description
Phlox Butonik is unlike any other phlox you’ve seen. Instead of fully opening, its bright pink flower buds stay closed, creating dense clusters of colour that look as if they’re about to bloom at any moment. The buds, tinged with purple, sit on deep purple stems, making this plant a striking feature in any garden.
This bushy perennial grows to a medium height, with dark green leaves that have a touch of purple at the tips. Butonik blooms in late summer, adding vibrant colour when many other plants are winding down.
