Bearded Iris Apricot Silk was introduced in 1987 by British hybridizers A. and D. Willott. It is a cross between Iris germanica 'Vanilla Cream' and Iris germanica 'Lady Beatrix Stanley'.
Bearded Iris Apricot Silk is a relatively easy plant to care for and is perfect for growing in full sun. It prefers moist, well-drained soil.
It is a reblooming iris, meaning it will bloom again in late summer or early fall.
